Brownies
- 10 Tbsp salted butter
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 Tsp Vanilla extract
- 0.5 Cup Chocolate chips, melted (I put them in the microwave for 45 seconds)
- 0.75 Cup All purpose flour
- 0.25 Cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.5 Tsp Salt
Pecan Pie
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1.5 cups Light corn syrup
- 4 Eggs
- 0.25 cup Butter
- 1.5 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans, chopped

Directions

Preparation of Brownies
1. Start by preheating the oven to 350.
2. To assemble our brownies, start by creaming together your sugar and melted butter.
3. Then add your eggs, vanilla extract and melted chocolate and mix well.
4. Finish the brownie batter by adding in your flour, cocoa powder & salt.
5. Mix until smooth and place in a 9x13 baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes (until set).
Preparation of Topping
1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine your sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter and vanilla extract and mix well.
2. Let this mixture cook/thicken for 15 minutes.
3. In the last 2 minutes, add your pecans and stir.
4. Top your set brownies with this mixture and smooth it out and bake for 25-30 more minutes.
Serving Instructions
1. Let these cool down fully and then serve, store in the fridge.
