Ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 2 Pomfret fish
- 1 tsp Cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp Cardamom, crushed
- 1 tsp Ginger powder
- 1 tsp amchur
- 1 tbsp Ginger, chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.25 c Avocado oil, for frying
For Tarka Rice
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 tsp brown mustard seeds
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 c Rice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 c water

Directions

Marinating the Fish
1. Create deep cuts on pomfret fish and add it in a container.
2. In a small bowl, add SpiceTribe’s ginger powder, amchur, crushed ginger garlic, turmeric powder, chili powder and salt. Mix it well.
3. Now rub it all over the fish. Make sure it gets into all the cuts.
4. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking the Fish
1. Add 1/2 a cup avocado oil in a frying pan.
2. Once hot, add the marinated fish to the pan.
3. Cook it on medium heat for 5-8 minutes each side.
Preparing the Rice
1. Heat some coconut oil and fry SpiceTribe’s mustard seeds.
2. Also add a couple of cardamom pods.
3. Then add rice and lightly toast it.
4. Add salt and water. Mix it well.
5. Cook on simmer for 15 minutes. Fluff before serving.
Serving the Dish
1. Make a bed of rice and place the fried fish.
2. Enjoy it with chopped salad.
