- 0.5 clove Garlic, grated
- 0.5 tsp Salt, or to taste
- 0.5 tsp Pepper, or to taste

Directions

To make the salad
1. Start by chopping your stale bread into bite-sized pieces and roasting them in a pan with olive oil and a pinch of salt until they're crispy.
2. Let the bread cool, then combine it with halved cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, cubed avocado, and fresh basil leaves in a large bowl.
For the dressing
1. Combine extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, grated garlic, salt, and pepper in a small jar and shake it up to combine.
