Ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 1 Chicken breast, seasoned with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp Cooking oil
- 1 tbsp Garlic, grated
- 1 tbsp chili oil
- 1 tbsp chili bean paste
- 4 cups unsalted chicken broth
- 0.25 c awase miso paste
- 8 oz fresh ramen noodles
Toppings
- cooked sliced chicken
- wood ear mushrooms
- ramen egg
- Scallions
- nori

Directions

Seasoning and Cooking the Chicken
1. Season both sides of chicken breast with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
2. In a skillet over high heat, fully cook the chicken, about 6 minutes.
3. Then cut the chicken into thin slices.
Preparing the Broth
1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, add oil, chili oil, chili bean paste, and grated garlic.
2. Stir for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add chicken broth along with miso paste.
4. Bring it to a light boil.
Cooking the Ramen Noodles
1. Cook ramen noodles in a separate pot according to package instructions, then drain.
Assembling the Spicy Miso Ramen
1. Assemble the spicy miso ramen by adding a few spoons full of broth into a serving bowl.
2. For the spicy lovers, add a couple tbsp of chili oil for the extra kick.
3. Add the cooked ramen noodles and any toppings of your preference.
4. I used wood ear mushrooms, cooked chicken, ramen egg, scallions, and nori.
5. Enjoy!
