Main Ingredients
- 20 g dried seaweed
- 1 lb beef brisket
- 2 tsp fine sea salt, or more to taste
- 2 tsp White pepper
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 5 cups water

Preparation of Ingredients
1. Soak dried seaweed in cold water for around 10 minutes, drain, rinse and fully squeeze the water out of the seaweed. Set aside.
2. Cut beef into thin slices and season with salt and white pepper. Mix and set aside.
Cooking Process
1. Preheat a pot to medium heat and add in the sesame oil, seaweed, and beef. Stir for around 3 minutes.
2. Then add in the soy sauce, garlic, and water. Cover the pot over medium-high heat until it is boiling.
3. Bring the heat down to simmer and let it cook for another 30 minutes until the beef is tender.
4. Taste the soup and add more salt if needed.
