Ingredients

Peaches
- 2 cups peaches, thinly sliced
Sugar
- 1 cup Sugar
Flour
- 1.5 cups Flour
Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
Baking Powder
- 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
Cinnamon Powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Unsalted Butter
- 1.5 stick Unsalted butter, room temperature
Eggs
- 2 Eggs
Sour Cream
- 0.25 cup Sour cream
Vanilla Extract
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
Sugar for Sprinkling
- 1 tablespoon Sugar, to sprinkle on top
Powdered Sugar
- Powdered sugar, to sprinkle on top when it's cooled down

Directions

Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Butter and Sugar Mixture
1. In a bowl add room temperature butter and mix it well. If you have a mixer, feel free to use it.
2. Then add sugar and whisk it for 5 minutes.
Egg Mixture
1. Now add the eggs, vanilla extract and sour cream.
2. Once it’s perfectly combined, set it aside.
Dry Ingredients
1. In another bowl, add the dry ingredients and mix it well.
Combining Ingredients
1. Now start adding the dry ingredients to the wet in two batches.
2. Now add in the peaches and gently mix it with a spatula.
Baking the Cake
1. Time to bake the cake.
2. Take a 9” cake pan and grease it well.
3. I like to add parchment paper for an easy cake removal process.
4. Bake this cake for 45-50 minutes depending on your oven.
Final Touches
1. Let it cool (I didn’t but you should) before dusting the cake with some powdered sugar.
2. It is perfect with a cup of tea.
