Ingredients

Spaghetti Carbonara
- 1 lb Spaghetti
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 c Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 8 bacon slices
- 8 clove Garlic, minced
- Parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Cooking the spaghetti
1. Cook your spaghetti to Al dente (reserve 1/2 cup pasta water).
Preparing the bacon and garlic
1. Cook your diced bacon until crispy.
2. When your bacon is mostly done cooking add your garlic and cook for additional 2 minutes then cut the heat off.
Preparing the egg and cheese mixture
1. Whisk together your 4 eggs and cheese.
Combining the ingredients
1. Add the Al Dente pasta to the pan with bacon and garlic in it, and stir well.
2. Add the egg mixture into the pan.
3. The pan will still be hot but not too hot as you don’t want the eggs to scramble upon hitting the pan.
4. Stir VERY well till you have a nice creamy sauce covering the pasta.
5. If it’s too dry add some reserved pasta water.
Serving the dish
1. Top with some additional parmesan cheese and parsley if you like and serve immediately.
