The Filling
- 1 stick Unsalted butter, softened
- 0.333 c Sugar
- 1 Orange, zested
- 0.5 Orange, juiced
- orange food coloring
Glaze
- 2 c Powdered sugar
- 0.75 c whole milk
- 2 tbsp Orange juice, fresh squeezed
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
dough
- 1 c Whole milk, warmed to 95F
- 2.5 tsp Active dry yeast
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 3 Eggs
- 0.5 c sugar
- 0.333 c unslated butter

Directions

For the filling
1. Combine 1 stick of softened unsalted butter with 1/3 cup of sugar.
2. Add the zest of 1 orange.
3. Squeeze in the juice of half an orange.
4. Add orange food coloring (optional).
For the glaze
1. Combine 2 cups of powdered sugar with 3/4 cup of whole milk.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed orange juice.
3. Mix in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
4. You can add more milk until desired consistency is reached.
For the dough
1. bloom yeast in milk for 8-10 minutes
2. combine all dry ingredients in mixing bowl
3. turn mixer on low and add all other ingridients
4. mix low 10 minutes
5. let rise 45 minutes
6. roll out in to large rectangle around 20 inches wide
7. apply filling
8. roll and cut into 9 pieces
9. place in to a greased 9x13 pan
10. let rise 30 minutes
11. bake 350F for 18-20 minutes
12. drizzle glaze
