- 6 Chicken thighs, boneless
- 0.333 c Soy sauce
- 0.333 tbsp White vinegar
- 3 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 4 Bay leaves, fresh or dried
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 Onion, small, diced
- 2 tbsp Garlic, minced
- chicken marinade
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1.5 c water
- 1 tsp Black pepper

Marinating the Chicken
1. Start off with marinating your chicken for at least 30 minutes but at most overnight.
Preparing the Chicken
1. Add oil to a pan on high heat and brown your chicken on each side for about 1 minute.
2. Remove from pan.
3. Add more oil if needed.
4. Sauté garlic and onions for a few minutes.
5. Then add in marinade from chicken, brown sugar, water & pepper.
6. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
7. Add chicken back in.
8. Simmer for about 30 minutes uncovered until chicken is cooked.
Browning the Chicken
1. Take your chicken out while sauce continues to simmer and reduce to thicken.
2. Broil your chicken for more browning on high for 3 minutes.
Finalizing the Dish
1. Once sauce is thickened, add chicken back in covering it in sauce.
2. Serve over a bed of white rice and top with green onions.
