- 1 15-ounce can Chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 clove Garlic, minced
- 0.25 c Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste

Preparation before air frying
1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
2. While the air fryer is preheating, pat dry the rinsed chickpeas with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to remove excess moisture.
3. Once dried, transfer the chickpeas to a bowl and toss them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil until evenly coated.
4. Place the chickpeas in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer.
5. Air fry them for about 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Preparing the seasoning mixture
1. While the chickpeas are air frying, prepare the seasoning mixture.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Coating and final air frying
1. After the initial air frying, remove the chickpeas from the air fryer basket and transfer them back to the bowl.
2. Toss the crispy chickpeas with the garlic Parmesan seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
3. Return the seasoned chickpeas to the air fryer basket and air fry them for an additional 5 minutes at 390°F (200°C) until the cheese is melted and the chickpeas are crispy.
Final steps
1. Once done, remove the chickpeas from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
