Ingredients

Macaroni and Cheese
- 1 lb elbow macaroni noodles
- 1 stick Unsalted butter
- 2 c Heavy cream, room temperature
- 1 c pasta water
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Paprika
- 2 tsp ground mustard
- 2 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
- 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
- 1.5 c mild cheddar cheese
- 1.5 c Sharp cheddar cheese
- 1.5 c White cheddar cheese

Directions

Cooking the macaroni noodles
1. Cook your macaroni noodles in salted water until al dente. Make sure not to overcook them so they don't become mushy.
2. Drain your pasta noodles and save one cup of the pasta water.
Preparing the cheese sauce
1. In a medium size saucepan, add butter and melt it until bubbly.
2. Once your butter is melted, add in heavy cream and reserved pasta water.
3. Let your sauce reduce down for about 5 minutes and then add in all of your seasonings and spices as well as Worcestershire sauce.
4. Your sauce will become thick and have tight bubbles towards the end. That is when you're ready to remove it from the heat and add in your cheeses.
5. Only add in half of your cheese and save the rest of the cheese for the topping.
Baking the macaroni and cheese
1. Pour your cheese sauce over macaroni noodles and place in an oven safe dish and top with the rest of your cheese.
2. Cover your macaroni with foil and bake at 350° F for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbling.
3. For the last 5 minutes, broil the top so it becomes golden brown.
4. Let your macaroni cool before serving. Enjoy!
