1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Whisk together 1.5 C of flour, the baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, add the butter and sugar and beat together until fully incorporated. It will be lumpy.
4. Add the eggs and continue to beat until light and fluffy.
5. Add the dry ingredients as well as the milk and orange juice and whisk together until just incorporated. Try not to over whisk, which will cause the bread to get tough.
6. Add the cranberries to a bowl with 1 tbsp flour and toss to coat.
7. Sift away any excess flour and add the cranberries to the batter and toss to combine. The flour helps to keep the cranberries from sinking to the bottom of the batter while baking.
8. Bake for about 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserted into the middle of the bread.
9. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Glaze Preparation
1. Make the glaze by whisking together all of the ingredients and then pour the glaze over top of the bread and enjoy!
