Bacon Wrapped Dates
- 12 oz Bacon
- 5 oz boursin cheese
- 12 oz dates
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Thyme, fresh, minced
- 2 tsp Sage, fresh, minced
- 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Preparing the Dates
1. Open your pitted dates and add a teaspoon of Boursin cheese, pushing the date together to close it up.
2. Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap the cheese-stuffed date with the half strip of bacon.
3. Insert a toothpick to keep it closed.
4. Repeat for the remaining dates.
5. Place on a rack on a sheet pan and bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes or until bacon reaches desired doneness.
6. Reduce cook time for a chewier bacon or leave in longer for a crispier one.
Preparing the Butter Sauce
1. In a pan, add your butter.
2. Once the butter has melted, add your minced sage and thyme.
3. Stir and allow the butter to brown.
4. Add black pepper.
5. Remove from heat and brush on bacon-wrapped dates.
6. Enjoy immediately.
