- 0.25 Green bell pepper
- 0.25 Red bell pepper
Beef Marinade
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 0.25 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp Oil
Stir-fry Sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Black pepper, coarse grind
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 0.333 c Chicken Broth, unsalted or water

Preparing the flank steak
1. Cut the flank steak into thin strips and marinate with the seasonings for 30 minutes.

1. Prepare the sauce by combining the listed ingredients.
Preparing the wok
1. Heat the wok and add 2 tbsp oil until it smokes.
Adding the beef
1. Add the beef and fry until about 80% cooked, with some pink still visible. Transfer out and set aside.
Adding the remaining ingredients
1. Add the remaining 1 tbsp oil, ginger, garlic, onion, and peppers. Stir for 30 seconds to release the flavors. Add Shaoxing wine around the wok.

1. Pour the sauce and stir until it thickens. Add the beef and mix well with the sauce.
