- 3 cups Bread flour
- 0.5 cup White sugar
- 0.25 cup Canola oil
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 cup water
- 2.25 tsp Active dry yeast, Activated with a tsp of sugar in the water
- 2 tbsp Ube Powder
- 2 tsp Ube Extract

1. Activate the yeast in the water and with a tsp of sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes or until the mixture starts to form bubbles.
2. Mix all the dry ingredients together with the oil and ube extract. Add the yeast mixture and knead by hand or with a stand mixer.
3. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, let sit in a warm place in an oiled and covered bowl for 2 hours, or until the dough has doubled in size.
4. Push the air out of the dough and roll the dough in 65g pieces. Transfer to a 9x9 oiled baking pan and proof in a humid area for 1 hour.
5. Bake at 350F for 15-20 min and let rest for at least 15 minutes before cutting in half.
6. Scoop some of your favorite ice cream onto the bread and enjoy while it is still warm!
