Directions

For the crust
1. Start by making your crust for the cheesecake.
2. To a food processor, add Oreos and crush. If you don't have a food processor, you can always use a Ziploc bag and a rolling pin.
3. Place the crushed Oreos into a bowl and add your melted butter.
4. Mix Oreos and melted butter until they come together and the Oreos look shiny.
5. Add them to the bottom of a pie pan or a springform pan.
6. Press the crust down so that it covers the bottom of the dish.
7. Place your crust in the freezer while you are making the next part of the cheesecake.
For the cheesecake filling
1. In a food processor add cream cheese, Oreos, and powdered sugar.
2. Mix all of that together until combined for about 1 minute and set aside.
3. In a bowl, add your heavy whipping cream, jello, vanilla and powdered sugar.
4. Whip this until peaks appear.
5. Fold your whipped cream into your cream cheese mixture.
6. Spoon your cheesecake mixture over your Oreo crust that you previously made.
7. Use a spoon or a spatula to smooth it out and place into the freezer while you make your ganache.
For the chocolate ganache
1. Add chocolate wafers and heavy whipping cream to a glass bowl.
2. Warm in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between each 30 seconds.
3. After about the third 30 second increment, your ganache should be ready. Try not to overdo this step, even if there's still some wafers that are not fully melted. They will melt as you finish stirring.
Final steps
1. Freeze your cheesecake for at least 2 hours before adding the chocolate ganache.
2. Drizzle your ganache all over the top of the cheesecake.
3. At this time you can decorate your cheesecake with whatever you like.
4. Place your cheesecake back into the freezer for another 30 min - 1 hr.
5. When you're ready to serve, use a warm knife to cut through the cheesecake and the cookie crust.
6. Enjoy!
