- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 1 Shallot, diced
- 2 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 can Artichoke hearts, diced
- Kosher salt
- coarse black pepper
- pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 c whole milk
- 10 oz frozen spinach
- Hot sauce, a couple of dashes
- 0.5 c grated parmesan cheese

Prepare the gravy
1. Melt butter and add shallot and garlic.
2. Cook until softened.
3. Stir in artichokes and season with a bit of salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
4. Stir in the flour and cook for 30 seconds.
5. Slowly add milk, stirring until combined.
6. Stir in spinach and season with hot sauce and plenty of black pepper.
7. Cook until thickened.
8. Stir in the Parmesan.
Serve the biscuits
1. Split biscuits open and spoon gravy over the top.
2. Sprinkle with more black pepper or hot sauce.
3. Enjoy!
