Shrimp and Pork Wontons
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 0.25 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 0.25 lb Ground pork
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Ground ginger
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 20 Wonton wrappers
Spicy Sauce
- 4 tbsp chili oil
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp black vinegar
- 1 tbsp Coconut aminos, instead of sugar
- 5 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp Chili flakes
- 0.5 tsp five-spice powder
- 1 Star anise
- 1 stalk Green onion, chopped

Prepare the Spicy Sauce
1. Whisk together all sauce ingredients.
2. Let sit at room temperature until ready to use.
Make the Wonton Filling
1. In a food processor, combine garlic, shrimp, ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, and salt.
2. Pulse until finely minced and well-mixed.
Assemble Wontons
1. Spoon a heaping teaspoon of the mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper.
2. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it into a triangle.
3. Fold up the left and right corners, pressing to seal.
Cook the Wontons
1. Bring a large pot of water to boil.
2. Add wontons and cook until they float, indicating they are cooked through.
1. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the wontons to a bowl.
2. Pour the spicy sauce over the wontons and gently stir to coat.
