- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- 1 Orange
- 1 bottle Red wine, such as Zinfandel
- 0.5 cup pomegranate seeds
- 0.75 cup orange liqueur
- 1 apple
- 1 bottle Prosecco
- 1 cup pomegranate juice

1. Core and dice the apple. Add to a large pitcher.
2. Slice off the top and bottom of the orange. Then place the orange cut-side down on the cutting board and use your knife to cut down the side or orange to remove the peel down to the flesh. Then cut the orange into quarters lengthwise and chop the quarters crosswise into bite-sized chunks. Add to the pitcher.
3. Add the cinnamon sticks and pomegranate seeds to the pitcher.
4. Add the orange liqueur, then the pomegranate juice, then the red wine and stir. Chill in the fridge for at least one hour or up to one day.
5. Add ice to glasses and fill about 2/3 of the way with the sangria. If necessary, use a slotted spoon to scoop some fruit into the glasses (the pomegranate seeds will sink to the bottom of the pitcher over time). Then top off each glass with Prosecco and add a few more pomegranate seeds on top, if desired.
