Ingredients

Veggie Mixture Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 Onion, medium, chopped
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 c beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt, to taste
- 2 c frozen mixed vegetables
Mashed Potatoes
- 2.5 lb Russet potatoes, peeled & cut
- 0.5 c Heavy cream
- 0.25 c melted butter
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste

Directions

For the mashed potatoes
1. Boil potatoes until soft in salted water.
2. Once softened, drain and mash.
3. Add in all ingredients listed above under “mashed potatoes”.
4. Mix until well combined.
For the meat filling
1. Add butter to a pan or pot.
2. Melt then add in onions to sauté.
3. Then add in ground beef and break apart.
4. Drain oil if needed.
5. Then add in Italian seasoning, tomato paste, and flour.
6. Stir then add Worcestershire sauce and beef broth and cook until it starts to thicken.
7. Then add in frozen veggies and continue to cook.
For the assembly and baking
1. Add meat to a 9 by 13 casserole dish.
2. Then add the potatoes on top.
3. Bake in oven at 375F for 30 min uncovered.
For serving
1. Take out and let cool for 5 min.
2. Enjoy!
