Ingredients

- 2.5 tsp Active dry yeast
- 3.75 cup All purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Baking soda
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- pnt boiling water
- 1 Tbs Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 4 oz Cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- flaky salt, to top
- Flour, for kneading
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 cup Gruyere cheese
- 0.5 cup Kewpie mayo
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- Olive oil, for your bowl
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 Tbs Unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1.5 cup Warm water, (95-100 degrees no higher)
- 1 cup White cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbs Creole seasoning
- 1 cup lump crab
- 18 jumbo shrimp

Directions

1. Add the yeast to your warm water and stir completely. Cover and let it activate for 8 minutes.
2. In a stand mixer or large bowl, add sifted flour, salt, and sugar. Mix until well incorporated.
3. Add melted butter and then yeast mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms.
4. The dough will be sticky, but add flour to your hands and a work surface.
5. Knead the dough on the work surface until the dough tightens up.
6. Add the dough to a clean bowl slightly oiled. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
7. Boil your water.
8. Form your pretzels.
9. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
10. When your water reaches a boil, add the baking soda.
11. Add pretzels in the water bath for 30 seconds and place on a baking sheet.
12. Place in the oven for 13 minutes or until golden brown.
13. Add butter and flaky salt to coat.
14. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
15. Cook the shrimp on both sides for 2-3 minutes each on medium heat.
16. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
17. In a large bowl, add lump crab, cream cheese, kewpie mayo, creole seasoning, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well incorporated.
18. Top pretzels with the lump crab mixture.
19. Add white cheddar on top of the crab mixture.
20. Add your shrimp.
21. Top with Gruyere cheese.
22. Bake for 20 minutes.
23. Garnish with green onion or parsley.
24. Serve and enjoy!
