Ingredients

- 4 thick cut pork chops
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 2 cup Buttermilk
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 Tbs Chili powder
- 1 Tbs Garlic powder
- 1 Tbs Onion powder
- 1 Tbs Smoked paprika
- 1 Tbs Cayenne pepper
- 0.5 cup Light brown sugar
- Oil, for frying
- 2 cup Oil, hot, reserved from the fried pork chops

Directions

1. Season your pork chops with salt and pepper.
2. Soak the pork chops in buttermilk for at least 2 hours.
3. Add oil to a shallow frying pan and heat oil to 365 degrees
4. Remove the pork chops from the buttermilk dripping off the excess and coating the pork chops in the flour.
5. Add pork chops to the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
6. Take 2 cups of the hot oil (being extra careful) and putting to the side.
7. In a large heat safe bowl, add chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar, then add the hot oil in and whisk.
8. Coat the pork chops in the Nashville hot mixture.
9. Serve between two pieces of white bread and pickles and enjoy.
