- 1 lb Spaghetti, cooked
- 0.5 c Reserve pasta water
- 0.5 lb Ground beef
- 0.5 lb Sweet Italian sausage
- 1 Sweet yellow onion
- 2 tbsp Italian seasonings
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 jar pasta sauce
- 2 c Heavy whipping cream
- 0.5 stick Unsalted butter
- 0.25 tsp Ground nutmeg
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 c Great parmesan
- 0.5 c Reserve pasta water

- 2 c Mozzarella cheese

1. Preheat your oven to 375° F.
2. Cook your noodles according to box instructions. I always like to cook it al dente. Also, don't forget to salt the water!
3. Make sure to reserve one cup of the pasta water.
Cooking the meat
1. In a skillet set to medium high heat add onions, ground beef, and Italian sausage and seasonings.
2. Cook your mixture until everything has browned.
3. Add your pasta sauce and cook until bubbly, and set aside.
Preparing the cream sauce
1. In a separate skillet set to medium heat, add butter.
2. Once your butter has melted, add your heavy whipping cream and mix with a whisk.
3. Once that is combined, add half of the reserve pasta water and nutmeg.
4. Let this mixture tighten up until bubbly.
5. Once the sauce has reduced by half, add in your parmesan and your noodles.
Assembling the dish
1. To an oven safe baking dish, add your creamed noodles as the first layer.
2. Top your noodles with your pasta sauce mixture.
3. Top everything off with shredded mozzarella cheese and more parmesan.
4. Tent cover with foil and bake in the oven until bubbly.
5. Enjoy!
