Chicken Pie
- 2 lb chicken
- 1 Butter, divided into stick
- 0.5 c Celery, diced
- 0.5 c Carrots, diced
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 White onion, medium
- 2 c Chicken Broth
- 1 tbsp chicken bouillon
- 0.5 c Heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Sour cream
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp Cali Love
- 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
- salt and pepper, to taste

1. Preheat your oven to 350° F.
2. Season your chicken.
3. In the skillet with a little butter and olive oil, sauté your chicken until fully cooked.
4. Remove your chicken from the skillet and set aside.
5. To the same skillet, add more butter and white onions.
6. Sauté until translucent. Then add in your carrots and celery and seasonings.
7. Once incorporated add a little more butter and your flour, mix and cook for 1 minute.
8. After 1 minute, add in your chicken broth, chicken bouillon, cream and let that cook until the sauce reduces by ¼.
9. Once the sauce starts to reduce, add in your chicken peas and sour cream.
10. Cook until the sauce is thick and bubbly, and turn off the heat.
11. Set aside while you prepare your pie crust.
Preparing the Pie Crust
1. To the preheated oven, add your pie crust with plated marbles and cook for 8 minutes.
2. Remove your prepared pie crust and fill with your pot pie filling.
3. Add the uncooked pie crust to the top and brush with egg wash.
4. Cook in the oven at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
5. Let your pie cool for about 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
