- 1.5 cups Raw Hazelnuts
- 0.333 c Cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.125 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 c Powdered sugar

Toasting the Hazelnuts
1. Toast on middle rack at 375 degrees for 12 minutes, rotating in between.
2. When the peel is dark brown, it’s ready. Don’t over bake or it will taste burnt.
3. Take the peel off by rubbing it in between a kitchen towel.
Preparing the Spread
1. In a food processor, blend the toasted hazelnuts for 5 minutes until it becomes a loose paste.
2. Then add oil, confectionery sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend it well.
Serving Suggestions
1. Toast a couple slices of bread and spread a thick layer of that yummy goodness with some fresh strawberries.
2. Add it to an airtight jar and leave it in the fridge for up to a month.
3. Enjoy!
