- 1 c ground golden flaxseeds
- 0.667 c Hot water
- 0.25 tsp Salt, or to your taste

Directions

Preparing the Dough
1. Add water into a pot and bring it to a boil.
2. Add the salt and flaxseed meal.
3. Turn the heat off and quickly mix with a spoon until the flaxseed meal absorbs all the water.
4. Continue to stir and the flaxseed meal will form a sticky dough in about 1-2 minutes.
5. Remove the dough from the pot and place it in a glass or ceramic bowl to cool.
6. When cool enough to handle, divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
7. Roll out each dough ball between two pieces of parchment paper.
Cooking the Flatbread
1. Preheat a well-seasoned cast iron pan over medium heat.
2. Transfer flax bread to the pan and cook it for 1-1/2 minutes.
3. Flip and cook for another 30-60 seconds.
