- 1 c Unsalted butter, softened
- 1.25 c light brown sugar, tightly packed
- 0.75 c Granulated sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1.5 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3 c gluten free 1 to 1 flour
- sea salt, pinch
- 0.75 tsp Baking powder
- 0.75 tsp Baking soda
- 1.5 c Chocolate chips, or chopped chocolate

1. First, preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Mixing the Ingredients
1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add softened butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
2. Mix for 2 to 3 minutes, or until no clumps of butter remain.
3. Add in eggs and vanilla.
4. Stir to combine.
5. Add in gluten free flour, sea salt, baking powder and baking soda.
6. Stir to combine.
7. Fold in chocolate chips.
Baking the Cookies
1. Use ice cream scoop to drop balls of dough onto lined pan.
2. Space at least 3 inches apart.
3. Dot with extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
4. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or until the edges are just barely golden brown.
5. The middles will still look a little soft and gooey.
6. Remove from oven.
7. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 7 to 8 minutes.
8. Then very carefully transfer to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
