Ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 tbsp Heavy cream
- 4 bacon slices
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 0.25 c light brown sugar
- 2 turkey sausage patties
- 2 slices of white American cheese
- 1 roll
- Butter, for cooking
- Oil, for cooking
French Toast Custard
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 0.5 c Granulated sugar
- pinch Kosher salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla bean paste, or vanilla extract
- 1.5 c Heavy cream

Directions

Prepare the Custard
1. In a large bowl, mix all of your custard ingredients together and set in the refrigerator until ready.
Prepare the Bacon
1. Grab a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place your bacon onto the parchment a few inches away from each other.
2. Sprinkle the top of the bacon with cinnamon and brown sugar.
3. Place in a cool oven and turn the oven on 375 degrees.
4. Monitor thoroughly flipping at about the 6 minute mark.
5. Cover that opposite side with a little more cinnamon and brown sugar and place it back in the oven to cook for another 6 minutes or until the sugars melt and the bacon is fully cooked.
6. Remove from the oven and set to the side. Turn the oven on to the lowest setting to keep warm.
Cook the Sausage Patties
1. In a large pan, add a couple of tablespoons of oil.
2. Once the pan is nice and hot, add your sausage patties and cook on both sides until fully cooked.
3. Place the patties into the warm oven to keep hot.
Prepare the Eggs
1. In a small bowl, add the two eggs and your tbsp of heavy cream. Mix until the eggs are fully beaten and the ingredients are well combined.
2. In another pan, add a tbsp of unsalted butter.
3. Once the butter melts and the pan is hot, add the eggs and repeatedly stir the eggs with a plastic spatula until they are soft and fluffy.
4. Add your cheese and remove the pan from the heat. The residual heat will melt the cheese all the way through.
Prepare the French Toast
1. In another pan, add butter and turn to medium low.
2. Remove the bowl of custard from the fridge.
3. Dunk your roll into the custard ensuring that it is fully coated.
4. Once your pan is hot, add the roll to the pan and toast for 3-5 minutes. The low heat will ensure that your French toast doesn’t burn and comes out nice and crispy.
5. After 3-5 minutes, flip the bread and cook the other side the same amount of time.
Assemble the Sandwich
1. Assemble your sandwich and serve with pancake syrup.
