Ingredients

Crab Rangoon Grilled Cheese
- 6 oz imitation crab
- 4 oz Cream cheese, room temperature
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 Scallion, stalk
- 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar
- 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Butter, softened
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 8 Bread, slices

Directions

Preparing the Filling
1. Cut the imitation crab into 1/2 inch rounds, and place into a bowl.
2. Cut the scallions into thin rounds and also place into the bowl.
3. Add the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic powder.
4. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Preparing the Bread
1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter and mayonnaise until well combined.
2. Spread the mixture onto one side of 2 slices of bread.
3. Scoop the Rangoon filling onto the unbuttered side of one piece of bread, and spread evenly.
4. Top with the other slice of bread with the unbuttered side.
5. Repeat until you run out of filling. Should make 2-4 sandwiches depending on how much filling was used.
Toasting the Sandwich
1. Place the sandwich on a cold pan and turn the heat onto low.
2. Slowly toast each side of the sandwich till both sides are golden brown.
3. Make sure to keep the heat on low so all the cheese in the middle gets melted.
Serving the Sandwich
1. Once the sandwich is golden brown on both sides, take out of the pan and cut on a diagonal.
2. Best served warm.
