- 3 lb Chickpeas, boiled
- 0.25 c Oil
- 4 tbsp Garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp garam masala
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chili flakes
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Ginger powder
- 1 tsp citric acid
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 3 c broth
- Cilantro, fresh, chopped
- Onions, sliced
- green chili

1. In a pot add oil and once hot, throw in the crushed garlic.
2. Cook it for 2-3 minutes before adding in all the "masala" aka spices.
3. Fry it until aromatic which should take about a couple of minutes.
4. Then add chickpeas.
5. Stir in the chickpeas before pouring in the broth.
6. Time to add the green chili.
7. Let it come to a boil before covering it and cooking it for 30-45 minutes on medium low flame.
8. Stir occasionally.
9. Once chickpeas are completely tender, turn off the flame and add sliced onion, chopped cilantro and green chili.
10. Enjoy it with hot poori.
