Tikka Paste
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 0.5 tsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 7 clove Garlic
- 2 inch Ginger
- 2 fresno chillis
- 0.25 c water
- 2 tsp Oil
- 2 lb chicken
- 1 c plain yogurt
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Pepper
- 28 oz peeled tomatoes
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 large onion
- 1.25 c Heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp kashmiri chili powder

Preparing the Tikka Paste
1. In a small saucepan, toast all your tikka paste spices.
2. Once aromatic, place in food processor and blend.
3. Add in the garlic, ginger, and chilis, along with the water and oil, and blend until smooth.
Marinating the Chicken
1. Use 2 tbsp of the tikka paste you just made, plus the yogurt and salt and pepper, and add it to a large bowl with the chicken.
2. Mix well and cover, then marinate in the fridge for 4 hours.
Preparing the Tomato Sauce
1. Blend the tomatoes in the food processor and strain out the seeds.
2. Put aside.
Cooking the Chicken and Finalizing the Dish
1. In a large skillet, add some oil and cook chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
2. Once all chicken is done, add the butter and sauté the onions.
3. Add in the remaining tikka paste, plus the paprika and chili powder.
4. Once everything is nicely sautéed, pour in the tomato sauce and heavy cream.
5. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Lastly, add in the chicken and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
7. Serve!
