- 2 lbs chicken drumsticks
- 0.25 c bbq seasoning
- 0.25 c bbq sauce

1. On a cutting board place the thickest part of the drum facing up.
2. Make a cut along one side of the bone and another down the other side without going all the way through.
3. Fold up the drums.
4. Pat the skin down with a paper towel to dry as best possible.
5. Season the chicken generously all the way around and place on a rack for a minimum of 2 hours or up to 24 hours in the fridge.
6. This helps dry the skin out for crispier results!
7. When ready, heat the grill to 325°.
8. Cook the chicken skin side up for the first 20 minutes, flipping once after to finish the cook.
9. After another 20 minutes check the internal temp, we’re looking for around 165° at this point which is when we want to flip them back to skin side up for the baste.
10. Baste with your favorite bbq sauce and cook an additional 15-20 minutes.
11. When the chicken reads an internal of 185° you’re all done!
12. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
