For French Toast
- 1 loaf brioche bread
- 1 whole egg
- 2 Egg yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 0.5 c half and half
Berry Compote
- 1 c berry mixture
- 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1 Lemon, juiced

For the French Toast
1. Mix together eggs, half and half, and vanilla. Whisk.
2. Then add in cinnamon and nutmeg.
3. Fully dip your slices of brioche into the egg mixture and let soak on a rack for 5-8 minutes before cooking.
4. Spray your pan with a little oil and cook your toast in the skillet until golden brown on each side.
5. After you have cooked each piece of toast, place them in the oven at 350 F for 5-8 minutes to finish baking.
For the Berry Compote
1. Add blackberries, raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice to a saucepan.
2. Cook on medium heat until sugars are dissolved and you get a sauce consistency.
3. You can use the back of a spatula to kind of break apart some of the berries. It's nice to leave a few whole.
4. Drizzle your compote on French toast!
5. Enjoy!
