Apple Preparation
- 2 apples
- 1 Puff Pastry dough
Sugar Mixture
- 10 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ground nutmeg

- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Milk

Preparing the Apples
1. Peel apples, slice them into 1 cm (½ inch) thick slices, and remove the core.
2. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a shallow bowl.
3. Then coat each apple slice from both sides so it's covered in a thin layer of the mixture.
Preparing the Dough
1. Cut the dough into 2 cm (1 inch) thick strips and wrap one strip at a time around the apple slice so they're fully covered.
2. Place the wrapped apple rings on a baking tray.
Baking the Apple Rings
1. For a golden shine, whisk together egg and milk, and brush over the dough.
2. Bake the apple rings at 180° C (356° F) for 20-25 mins, until the dough is golden.
3. While still hot, toss the rings again in the sugar mixture and let them cool for about 10 minutes before eating.
4. Enjoy!
