Main Ingredients
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 1 lb beef
- 1.5 c bone broth
- 2 Tbsp Mirin
- 3 Tbsp Soy sauce, low sodium
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 c Rice
Optional Ingredients
- Egg
- Green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds

1. Mix broth, mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and salt in a pan and mix together.
2. Add your onions and cook on medium heat with the lid closed until the onions have softened (around 10 minutes).
3. Add your beef and continue cooking until the beef is done (around 5 minutes).
4. Skim off any fat and add the gyudon to a bowl of rice, pouring some of the broth on top.
5. Optional: top with a fried egg, sesame seeds, and green onions.
