- 5 lb chicken legs
- 2 lb Yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 4 clove Garlic, peeled and crushed
- 0.5 c Balsamic vinegar
- 0.5 c Red wine vinegar
- 2 c Chicken stock
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Butter, optional

1. Liberally season chicken with salt and pepper.
2. Over high heat, sear on both sides to get a bit of color. Remove the chicken from the pan.
3. In the same pan turned down to medium high heat, sauté onion and garlic with a bit of salt.
4. Once slightly colored, add bay leaves then stock and both vinegars.
5. Add the chicken back to the pan.
6. Turn the heat to high and once the braising liquid comes to a boil, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
7. Then, uncover, turn the heat to medium high, and reduce the liquid for another 10 minutes.
8. Optionally stir in a tablespoon of cold butter to get the sauce nice, thick, and glossy.
9. Serve with rice or carb of choice.
