- 300 g Coconut sugar
- 4 Tbs Cornstarch
- 4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 Tbs Vanilla extract

1. In a pot, mix the coconut sugar with the cornstarch. Pour in the coconut milk and simmer at medium heat. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely. Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
2. Simmer for around an hour or until it reaches a intense golden color and thickens. Keep stirring to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
3. Transfer to a jar and let it cool completely.
4. Enjoy with cookies, bread or fruit and keep in your fridge for up to two weeks.
