Ingredients

Flank Steak Marination
- 2 lbs flank steak
- 0.25 c Olive oil
- 0.25 c Lemon juice
- 2 T White vinegar
- 1 T Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Shawarma spice
- pickles, optional for serving
- Onion, sliced- optional for serving
- Bell peppers, sliced- optional for serving
- hummus
- garlic sauce
- Pita Bread, to make shawarma sandwiches

Directions

Marinating the Steak
1. Mix all above ingredients together. (steak, olive oil, lemon juice, white vinegar, garlic and shawarma spice)
2. Cover and marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
Cooking the Steak
1. Turn the sauté function on your pressure cooker.
2. Then add the flank steak.
3. Pressure cook for 7 minutes and natural release for 5 minutes. (If you don't have an Instant Pot you can pan fry the marinated steak for 3-5 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking. Would need to cook in two batches to prevent crowding.)
Serving Suggestions
1. You could put this over pilaf (I have a recipe on my page) or put it in pita bread with peppers, onions, pickles, hummus or garlic sauce.
