Ingredients

Wonton Filling
- 1 pack Wonton wrappers
- 1 lb Ground pork, or other proteins that you prefer
- 1 tbsp Ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 0.25 tsp white pepper powder
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 egg white
- 3 Scallions, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)
- 2 tbsp Oil, heated
Sauce
- 1 tbsp Garlic, grated
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
- 0.5 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp spicy sesame oil
- 1 tbsp water, boiled
- 0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp chili oil

Directions

Preparing the Wonton Filling
1. In a mixing bowl, add ground pork, grated ginger, soy sauce, white pepper, salt, egg white, scallions, and heated oil. Combine well.
How to Fold the Wontons
1. To fold the wontons, place one piece of the wrapper on your hand and add 1 tsp of filling in the middle.
2. Wet all edges with water and fold them in half to form a rectangle.
3. Dab one corner with water and bring the other corner over on top.
4. Press and seal tight.
Preparing the Sauce
1. Combine the listed ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and mix well.
Cooking Fresh Wontons
1. For fresh wontons, cook them in a pot of boiled water over high heat for 3 minutes.
2. Stir occasionally to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
3. Once they float to the surface, they are done.
Cooking Frozen Wontons
1. For frozen wontons, add them to a pot of boiled water and bring it back to a boil.
2. Immediately add 1/2 cup of cold water and wait for it to boil for a second time.
Serving the Wontons
1. Place the wontons in a bowl and add the sauce on top.
2. Garnish with scallions and enjoy.
