- 4 salmon filets
- 2 tbsp Avocado oil
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 6 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 2 c heavy whipping cream
- 1 c pasta water
- 0.25 c basil pesto
- 1 tbsp Italian seasonings
- 0.25 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tsp Onion powder
- 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 lb Pasta, of choice
Additional Ingredients
- 1 c sliced mushrooms
- 1 c Frozen peas
- 1 c Parmesan cheese
- Parsley, chopped for garnish

Preparing the Pasta
1. In a large stock pot add water and salt and cook your pasta until al dente.
2. Save some of your pasta water for your sauce.
Preparing the Salmon
1. Season your Salmon with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and Italian seasonings.
2. In a skillet set to medium heat add avocado oil and Unsalted butter. Melt down until bubbly.
3. Add your seasoned salmon, skin side down first.
4. Sear on one side until the salmon is cooked half way. Once your salmon is cooked half way, flip and finish searing until golden brown and cooked to your preferred liking.
5. Once your fish is cooked, set it to the side and start on your sauce.
Preparing the Sauce
1. To a skillet set to medium heat add butter. Cook until melted.
2. Add room temperature heavy whipping cream and whisk until combined.
3. Season your cream with pesto, Italian seasonings, cayenne pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder and nutmeg.
4. Continue to whisk your sauce.
5. Once your sauce starts to thicken up, add half of your reserve pasta water, mushrooms, peas and pasta.
6. Once the sauce starts to form tight bubbles, and sticks to the back of a spoon it is ready.
7. Turn off the heat and add in your cheese.
Plating and Serving
1. Plate your dish and garnish with more cheese and parsley.
2. Enjoy!
