Main Ingredients
- 1 lb strip or ribeye steak
- 2 tsp whole cumin seeds
- 3 peppers
- 1 Jalapeno pepper, chopped
- 1 Red onion, sliced into rounds
- Flour tortillas
- shredded cheddar or Jack cheese
- Lime
- Hot sauce

1. Heat cast iron skillet over medium high heat for a few minutes to make sure it’s really hot. Cook the steak on each side for about 4-5 minutes each depending on how thick it is. Remove steak from pan and let rest for 10 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, slice your vegetables.
3. In the same pan without cleaning it, add the cumin seeds for about 15 seconds and then add the rest of the vegetables. Season with salt. It should take about 10 minutes to cook down.
Notes and Observations
1. Don't copy my video mistakes: I should have used a bigger pan obviously. And I failed to remember adding the cumin seed first.
2. By the way, it really smells like sizzling restaurant fajitas, so good. Simple.
