Ingredients

For the “bruja” sauce
- 0.5 Onion, sliced
- 0.5 Carrot, sliced
- 5 clove Garlic
- 5 Bay leaves
- 1 rosemary twig
- 4 thyme twigs
- 5 aromatic cloves
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 3 árbol peppers
- 0.5 stick Cinnamon
- 4 Serrano peppers, grilled and peeled
- 7 seed Allspice
- 1.5 cup White vinegar
For the salpicon
- 1 Green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 Red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 octopus
- 0.5 Red onion, finely diced
- 3 Tbs Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbs Lime juice
- 1 Tbs “bruja” sauce
- 3 Tbs Cilantro, washed, disinfected and chopped
- 2 Radishes, sliced
- 1 pack salty crackers

Directions

For the “bruja” sauce
1. Mix all the ingredients except the vinegar in the bottle where you’re making the sauce. Bring the vinegar to a boil and pour into the bottle.
2. Mix well and rest for a pair of days before using.
For the salpicon
1. In a bowl, add the cooked octopus and red onion. Add extra virgin olive oil, lime juice, and sauce. Add the bell peppers, cilantro and radish. Mix well and season with salt and fresh black pepper.
2. Serve with “bruja” sauce to the side and some crackers.
