Mentaiko Pasta
- 2 mentaiko pieces
- 8 oz Pasta
- reserved pasta water
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- furikake

1. Boil pasta until it's al dente.
2. Make sure to reserve some pasta water for later.
3. Cut the mentaiko down the middle and remove the fish eggs from the membrane into a bowl.
4. Combine the butter, soy sauce, and heavy cream with the mentaiko.
5. Stir until well combined.
6. Mix in the pasta with the mentaiko mix.
7. Pour in some of the reserved pasta water to your liking.
8. Taste it! The flavor should be rich, creamy, and salty.
9. Top with furikake and more mentaiko.
10. Enjoy!
