- 6 slices Bacon, thick cut, chopped
- 1 package gnocchi
- 2 tbsp Butter
- Kosher salt
- coarse black pepper
- 0.5 tsp granulated garlic
- 0.5 tsp granulated onion
- 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 c Sour cream
- 2 clove Garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice, fresh
- 3 tbsp Chives, chopped
- Hot sauce, a couple of dashes
- 1.5 c Cheddar cheese, finely shredded

Cooking the bacon and gnocchi
1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy.
2. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
3. Discard the bacon grease.
4. Cook gnocchi according to package directions and drain.
5. Melt butter in the same skillet and add the cooked gnocchi.
6. Season with a pinch of salt, pepper, granulated garlic, granulated onion and crushed red pepper flakes.
7. Cook, tossing often, until golden brown.
Preparing the sour cream sauce
1. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, chives, pinch of salt and pepper and hot sauce.
Serving the dish
1. To serve, spoon and spread the sour cream sauce on the bottom of your plates and top with the golden gnocchi.
2. Top with cheese, bacon, chives and some cracked black pepper.
3. Serve and enjoy!
