Main Ingredients
- 800 g canned chickpeas
- 6 tbsp Tahini
- 3 tbsp Lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 0.5 c ice cubes
- 4 large garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp EVOO
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 0.5 tsp Salt
Final Seasonings
- ground sumac
- 2 tbsp EVOO
- Parsley leaves, a few
- pickled peppers

Preparation of Chickpeas
1. Wash the canned chickpeas thoroughly.
2. Remove the skin off of the chickpeas for absolutely smooth hummus.
Blending Ingredients
1. Now add peeled chickpeas, garlic cloves, salt, tahini, lemon juice, ground cumin to the food processor.
2. Blend it for 5 minutes while gently pouring in the olive oil.
3. Also gradually add ice cubes so hummus doesn’t get warm and clumpy.
4. Keep blending it until creamy.
Plating and Serving
1. With the help of a spoon, create a little crater in the hummus.
2. Pour olive oil, some sumac, and parsley leaves.
3. Enjoy it with lavash bread or fresh cut veggies.
