Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together Butter and Sugar until fully combined & texture is light and fluffy. You can use a whisk, hand mixer, or stand mixer. Scrape down mixture from the sides of the bowl and add in the Eggs and Vanilla Extract. Cream for 1-2 minutes longer.
3. Sift in Flour. Add in Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda, and Salt, then mix together until combined. I recommend using a large wooden spoon to mix and combine.
4. Cover the dough and let refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
5. For Cinnamon Sugar Coating, in a small bowl, stir together Sugar and Cinnamon.
6. Take about an ice cream scoop (2 Tablespoons) of dough and roll into small balls until round and smooth. Drop into the Cinnamon Sugar mixture and coat well. Using a spoon, coat for a second time, ensuring the cookie dough balls are completely covered.
7. Note: (To make flatter snickerdoodles, press down in the center of the ball before placing in
8. the oven. This helps to keep them from puffing up in the middle)
9. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Let cool for several minutes on baking sheet before removing from the pan. Cookies will become more firm when you give them a few minutes to rest before moving.
10. For Glaze, In a small bowl combine Powder Sugar, Milk, and Vanilla Extract. Can add additional Milk if needed to reach desired consistency. Whisk together until Glaze is smooth. Drizzle glaze over cookies and let sit for about 2-3 minutes to let Glaze hardens.
