- 8 oz dry garbanzo beans
- 1 bunch Fresh cilantro
- 1 bunch Fresh parsley
- 1 Onion
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 2 tsp Coriander
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 0.333 c raw sesame seeds
Tahini Sauce
- 0.5 c tahini sauce
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 Fresh lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- 1.5 tsp Cumin
- 0.5 cold water

Directions

Falafels
1. 1. Soak garbanzo beans overnight.
2. 2. In a blender, add cilantro, parsley, red onions, until batter is not too dry and not too wet. It should form easily in your hand.
3. 3. Drop into hot oil and cook on each side for 30-45 seconds until crust is golden.
Tahini Sauce
1. 1. in a bowl, mix tahini, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic and lemon juice.
2. 2. Once mixture becomes a paste, gradually add cold water to it to thin it out.
