- 2 lb frozen, peeled deveined large shrimp
- 3 Lemon
- 1 tbsp Black peppercorns
- 3 Bay leaves
- 0.5 cup Kosher salt
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 3 tbsp prepared horseradish
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Hot sauce

For the shrimp
1. Fill a pot halfway with water and salt heavily.
2. Add some aromatics (optional) I used bay leaves, a halved lemon, and some peppercorns.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Make sure the shrimp are completely defrosted before adding them to the water.
5. Boil for 2-3 minutes.
6. You can either put them in an ice bath or spread out on a sheet pan to cool quickly.
7. Mix all ingredients for cocktail sauce: ketchup, juice of 1 lemon, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce.
