Main Dish
- 3 c Chickpeas, boiled
- 1 Onion, finely diced
- 2 clove Garlic, finely chopped
- 1.5 inch Ginger, grated
- 1.5 c Tomato sauce
- 0.5 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Salt, or to taste
- 4 tsp Indian Curry Spice Blend
Alternative Spices*
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
- 0.5 tsp Ginger powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 0.5 c Cilantro
- 1 Lime, chopped into wedges

Start Cooking
1. Heat up some olive oil in your pan over medium-high heat.
2. Once the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds and toast them until they begin to pop. This should take about a minute or so.
Add Onion
1. Next, add chopped onion together with some salt. The salt will help release the liquid from the onion.
2. Roast the onion until it becomes translucent.
Add Garlic and Ginger
1. Now it's time to add the garlic and ginger.
2. Roast them for another minute until fragrant.
3. Add the spices and continue to roast until fragrant.
Add Tomato Sauce and Chickpeas
1. Pour in the tomato sauce and add the chickpeas.
2. Simmer everything for 5–10 more minutes.
Garnish and Serve
1. Once done, you can garnish your dish with a lime wedge and fresh cilantro leaves.
