- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Shallot, minced
- 1 tsp Curry powder
- 1 tsp Fish sauce
- 1 tbsp calamansi juice
- 1 tbsp soybean oil

Preparing the cucumbers
1. Cut the cucumbers into 1/2 inch rounds.
2. Place in a bowl, and sprinkle with the salt.
3. Massage the salt into the cucumbers and let sit for about 20 minutes.
Preparing the dressing
1. Mince the shallot, and add to a bowl.
2. In the same bowl, add the curry powder, fish sauce, calamansi juice, and oil.
3. Mix well to form a dressing.
4. Taste to adjust seasoning.
Final steps
1. After the 20 minutes, wash the salt off of the cucumbers.
2. Drain well and remove any excess water.
3. Place the cucumbers in the dressing and toss until it is fully coated.
4. Best served cold and right away.
